I believe that everyone has biases.

Often in our communications and storytelling in any medium, an author’s biases can be hidden or unconscious. I also believe it takes courage and vulnerability to reach out because you may worry you’re being disrespectful or you just need help.  As a writer, I understand that. From that perspective, my service is to identify these hidden or unconscious biases and stereotypes, and provide an explanation as to why and suggest fixes. 

I view our work together as an opportunity for learning and understanding.
